Best time to visit
November through February offers the most comfortable conditions, with cooler, drier air across the desert interior and pleasant temperatures along the Atlantic coast.
Ideal trip length
10–14 days, to allow enough time to reach both the remote desert heartland around Chinguetti and Ouadane and the wildlife-rich Atlantic coastline without feeling rushed.
